Become a dust – by Zin

Leen shattered the record for drinking among her group of friends, openly acknowledging her defeat in the face of societal customs and traditions.

She declared, “I don’t expect him to even glance in my direction, no blame, no shame. His presence within me rages like an unending storm, and my heart succumbs to this tempest, my fate to perish with thoughts of him by my side. I live each minute as if it were my last.”

AdorA the maid tried to console her, saying, “Calm yourself, my lady. You always find a solution to every challenge. Don’t give up.”

The rest of the group had grown weary of the dismal atmosphere and began to disperse throughout the party, while the music seemed to transform every heart into a drum and lyre.

Leen took another sip, her hazel eyes hiding the tears she fought to hold back. The room felt hot as she lost herself in her thoughts, her words carried away by the thin air occupying her breath. “Life isn’t just about surviving; it’s about loving him in this world or any other. i am not blaming God for creating this love inside me since my soul was born, but now I just want to live, intoxicated by his love. When the heavens echo with joy, drawing lost souls to my embrace, and when your sorrow gives you strength, no barrier can silence your truth.”

“Such pain, such pain in my heart,” Leen murmured smoothly to  AdorA.

The party’s energy swelled as the music enveloped the air, and amid the chaos, she was pulled from her seat by the other girls. As she swayed to the beat, a bittersweet smile played on her lips, a poignant expression that seemed to reach into the very depths of the sky. In the midst of the uproar, she felt an overwhelming surge of pain and sorrow. She longed to cry out for it all to stop; her mind raced, imploring the divine for intervention. It was as though she had traversed every world and dimension, every conceivable space and place, only to find herself drained of the will to continue. It felt as if the world was crumbling around her, and as she tumbled helplessly, it was as though she was bidding a solemn farewell to all. She falls powerlessly to the ground unconscious.

AdorA’s shock and grief, and the onlookers’ astonishment encircled her, all questioning how such a graceful lady had met with such a fate. AdorA cried out, “Step aside and give her air.”

Heavy footsteps approached, bearing witness to Leen’s collapse into his grasp for eternity. AdoRa, implored Leen, “Awaken, my lady. The one who tore away your happiness and the hope of reuniting with your beloved is here.” Nereus, with his imposing figure, arrogantly seized her body from the ground as if he possessed not only her but also the very earth she lay upon. His smug grin cemented his dominion over her and her destiny.

In body, Leen lay lifeless, but her spirit journeyed in rapture, encountering her past selves in each lifetime, reliving every moment and meeting Jade, only to be torn from him by the machinations of fate. AdoRa thanked Nereus for carrying Leen to her chamber, which caused a commotion in the castle upon seeing their mistress in such a state. AdoRa arranged her bed and draped her in her beloved ivory silk from the crystal city, as Leen murmured softly, “Jade, find me.”

AdoRA confused why Leen saying that in her sleep because Jade know her place….
